Volunteer PTO (VPTO)
The Company provides you with up to 32 hours of VPTO each calendar year to support a charitable 501(c)(3) organization of your choice. Any unused time at the end of the year does not carry forward to the following year. All requested time should be submitted through Workday and sent to your manager for approval.

What is the Volunteer Paid Time Off (VPTO)?

  • Volunteer Paid Time Off is a benefit Cotality provides employees granting them up to 32 hours of time off work to participate in community service projects at a nonprofit.

How can I request VPTO?

  • To request VPTO in Workday: Select the Absence application > under Request, select Request Absence > On the calendar, click on the day(s) to request - Request Absence > using the prompt, click on Time-Off, select Volunteer Time as the Type, and click Next > on the request table, make any edits necessary and click Submit.   • VPTO needs approval from your manager. Please communicate with your manager if you plan to take VPTO.
