Take action to try to head off the flu. The best way to protect yourself is to get vaccinated every year. As you probably know, the flu is a contagious disease with uncomfortable side effects such as fever, sore throat and nausea.
You can receive your annual flu shot at any local CVS pharmacy or directly through your primary care provider (PCP) at no cost to you.
If you're enrolled in an Anthem plan, you can use any provider for your flu shot. You can find clinics by downloading Anthem's Sydney Health App. If you use a clinic or pharmacy that is not contracted with Anthem, you must complete and submit a claim form for reimbursement.
If you are enrolled in a Kaiser HMO, you must get your flu shot from a Kaiser facility for it to be covered. For more information, call:
